In April of 2026, the three founders of the Roamin' Warrior Foundation will thru-hike the entire Continental Divide Trail — 3,000 miles from Mexico to Canada through blizzards, grizzlies, and 200,000 ft of elevation gain. Our goal is to raise awareness about veteran mental health while collecting donations that will help us fund veteran hikers in upcoming thru-hiking seasons.

Raising Awareness

Veteran mental health is often overlooked, and we aim to bring more attention to healing our veterans both on and off the trail.

Trail Magic

Trail angels are always a saving grace for hikers, and we want to reciprocate the incredible generosity we've experienced on trail. By providing a wide variety of trial magic along the major US trails, we can support the community that has always supported us.

Scholarships

We believe the outdoors should be accessible to all, and strive to support veteran hikers financially through a scholarship program set to launch in 2027.

Removing Barriers

Nothing should keep our veterans from the healing power of nature. We strive to be a bridge between veterans and the outdoors, whether it be through community, financial support, or trail magic along the way.
